Open Call for An Accountant
We are looking for an accountant to join our multi-cultural team in AGORA and Basita on an exciting project.
The candidate’s main duties will be:
• Responsible for the financial management of the projectincluding:
o Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders.
o Preparing budget forecasts;
o Handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
o Reconciling accounts payable and receivable;
o Ensuring timely bank payments;
o Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups when necessary.
• Conducts the financial report of the project in compliance with the Egyptian Law.
• Submits periodic and annual tax reports as per the Egyptian Law.
• Any other financial reporting or legal accounting tasks as the project requires.
Qualifications
• Chartered accountant, registered in the CBE with 10-15years of experience in the field of accounting and legal consulting.
• Experience in working with SMEs and Non-profits.
• Advanced knowledge of the Egyptian tax laws and working with international partners and manpower of non-Egyptian nationalities.
