Bab El Bahr Festival is back in collaboration with Celebrating our Diversity Festival. The Festival will be hosted at the Jesuit Cultural Center on 18-19 March with the participation of artists from Egypt, Finland, Lebanon, Sweden and Tunisia.
Beirut-based Lebanese Armenian multilingual singer and music composer Carina is best known for her ethereal vocals and angelic voice.
With natural soundscapes and harmonic arrangements, her music draws influence from the spiritual culture rendering ethnic music from Armenia, Sufi and folk traditions from different cultures.
Carina is Basita Fellow and will be releasing her album in the Festival.
This Festival is organised by The National Museums of World Culture and Agora for Arts and Culture and the Anna Lindh Foundation Swedish Network
and with the support of Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Lindh Foundation, Jesuit Cultural Center, Drossos Foundation and Bassita.Live
