Hawas Band
Hawas is an independent Egyptian band that formed in Cairo in 2015. Their genre can be described as Alternative Arabic Funk; it fuses elements of jazz, funk, rock folk, and reggae, reworked with instruments including the Oud, percussion and keyboards.Besides many singles Hawas has released two EPs in 2015 titled “Hawas” and “Like Winter”. “Batal Khareq›› their first LP which consists of 9 songs, 3 of them has been released and the rest will be released in June and September 2020.
