Beginning in 1999, Sherin first danced as part of the Reda Troupe with its focus on oriental ballet at the Balloon In 2016, she directed and choreographed Ya Sem, a dance piece which addressed sexual harassment in Egypt by mixing contemporary and balady dancing techniques. Her current project is Awalem Khafeya, a Cairo-based contemporary balady dance troupe which draws its inspiration from the Egyptian divas of the 1940s-1960s.
